Happy Scrappy Weekend!

Hey everybody! Hope you scrappy ladies (and gents?) had a wonderful National Scrapbooking Day/Weekend! I hung out at one of my favorite scrapbooking forums, Digital Candy, where they had a bunch of awesome speed scraps and challenges for us to play with! There were 10 main "Scrap-a-Thon" challenges for points, and a bunch of extras for the overachievers. I missed all three speed scraps, and was too burned out for the extra challenges, BUT I managed to complete all TEN of the Red Carpet challenges -- and I was the first one at DC to complete and post ten entries! What a rush, let me tell you! Here are my layouts. If you get through all of them, there's a prize at the end ;)

Challenge #1
(use a kit you've had for a long time and never used)

This LO is my absolute FAVORITE.
(formula challenge - certain numbers of papers and elements)

Challenge #5
(use a line from "Pure Imagination" the song from the original Willy Wonka movie)

Challenge #6

light blue strip - Snips & Snails by Tracie Stroud

brown stitches - Day at the Zoo by Jessica Edwards and Fairytale Studios
light blue string - Playtime by geniaBeana

Phew! Did you get through all of that? Good! Because having shown you all of my pretties, I'm ready to give a couple to YOU! I took a couple of my most useful layouts and turned them into templates for you!

Template 36
This template is based on my "Make a Wish" layout. There is room for 5 photos, cascading down the page, with white mats that are easily toggled off. ;)
6/11/09 - This template has been updated and now includes both the original PSD and new PNG files.

Template 37
This template is based on my "Kimi" layout (the one with the shoes). Please note that since I used this for blocking apart ONE picture, the squares are NOT separated into layers as they were in Template 35. Instead, there is the simple direction to click one layer and paste, and it will automatically group your photo in so that it is masked this way. Feel free to e-mail me (addy in the TOU) if you have questions about how you can layer in some papers in those rectangles. Anyway, I hope it's not too complicated! Have fun with it and I'd love to see what you do with it!
